Christmas

I love this boy. Aren't we precious?

There was sooo much food.

And lots of presents.

And crazy relatives.

And more food.

The next day, I decided to drag Jared out into the blizzard for lunch.

He doesn't bother arguing with me anymore, which is probably the smartest thing.

After lunch, we went to see Tron in 3D at the IMAX.

I loved it. And it confirmed that my daughter absolutely MUST be named Cora. Also, the 15 minute drive from Providence to Seekonk ended up taking 40. We almost died.

Birthday-ish

Saturday was my birthday. Things didn't go as planned, but I did have a lovely weekend with my love (Jared) and my other love (Dylan). Ian was supposed to come home on my birthday, but he got stuck in Ireland due to inclement weather. We picked him up on Tuesday and I'm so happy he's back! Here are some pictures.

Snapshot Sunday

Midnight Sunday was spent with Ryan. He loves Willard.

And also me too.

Here you can see Ryan singing Rihanna, yelling "DISPERSE," and performing a scene from Intervention.

Then I woke up, where Jared and I fought on AIM. We love to fight. And by we, I mean I.

Then I donned my worm boots and headed to work. Also, I had a dream that the Chinese baby next door was playing with a worm outside. I cried.

At work, SBHM (smelly boat hat man) came in wearing some sort of orange pod. It covers his entire head except for a small sliver where you can see his eyes and mouth. I have a theory that it's one giant body sock, and this disturbs me greatly. ANYWAY, he told me that if he were alone in a room full of 5 naked beautiful women and myself, he would choose me. Why does this happen to me? Why?

On the bright side, they added my cake to the birthday wall!

My day just kept getting better. Roughly 1 minute before I reached my driveway, my car ran out of gas. It was a monsoon, and I had to wait 80 millions years for AAA to come rescue me.

Then Dylan came over and yelled at me.

He also brought a beautiful pipe that I think is shaped like a rat (Willard), but he swears is a blowfish.

Then we went to see this very scary place in Rehoboth (but possibly Seekonk--the border was unclear). I cannot provide you with details until Ian returns from Ireland and sees it for himself. It must remain a mystery! However, we decided to do this at midnight in the middle of a flood. Here you can see us dying.

Now I am drinking Snapple. This fact freaks me out for some reason.

Snapshot Sunday

Saturday night, Jared came over. We were supposed to go see Atomic Brain Invasion, except I didn't actually want to see it, so we slept instead.

Later, we went downstairs to make food, and I found this letter. It's addressed to Ian Augustine because he drunkenly called a Peter Popoff infomercial and signed up to receive a free prayer hankie. Instead of using his own address, he gave them mine. I now get about 2 letters every month.

Anyway, I'm really glad he gave them my address, because these letters are pure gold. This one enclosed a "secret healing touch" glove.

It was really just a plastic lunch lady glove. You're supposed to lay it over your body for one night ONLY and then you'll be healed from whatever ails you (after you "sow a seed of $30" and mail the glove back to Peter Popoff, of course). Whoever creates these things has the most amazing sense of humor of all time.

We celebrated our glove by making sweet potato home fries.

And also asparagus and bread. Yumyumyumyum.

As I was cleaning up, this plastic $100 bill fell onto the table out of nowhere. I assume it was tucked into one of Peter's letters, but I'm not not ruling it out as a sign from the heavens either.

Sunday, I worked until 4. Then we all went to Chili's. CJ looks old, and it creeps me out.

After dinner, I went to East Providence to pick up Ryan and his friend, Brittany. I'm obsessed with him.

Brittany remembered that Mary Lou's coffee just opened up in a nearby gas station, so we immediately went there to get beverages. Everything is pink and cute.

Ryan & Brittany got Funky Funablas, and I got a Minty Lou. They were both amazing.

Ryan told me I was "fierce" the entire night. I loved every second of it.

Then we joined forces and performed a very emotional rendition of "Beautiful" by Christina Aguilera.

For some reason, I love the new bridge that connects 195 with 95. We ended the night by getting "lost" in Cranston.
